I originally bought the camera for snorkelling. But we soon learned that the Elph made the best pictures of all our cameras. We are not pros, so the Elph easily beat the old Nikon I have on land. We have a digital camera we purchased at 3X the price and we can not get the pictures to come out as well as they do on the Elph. And in the water, nothing can beat it. Its light and easy to use. Not having a zoom lens is a set back for land pictures at events and I just recently started Scuba diving and can't find any information on how deep I can take it safely. Other than that, we Love our Elph.
Pro : Water Proof, great pictures land or sea, easy to maintain
Con : no zoom, can't find how deep it can go

Eversince I bought my Canon ELPH Sport, I have never left home without it. From up in the mountains to secluded beaches to rockclimbing trips. I even brought it with me while spelunking an unmarked cave. The best shots I took with this camera are a dolphin's point of view of the sunset.A school of jacks while i was snorkling. And my freind falling from a V12 boulder after nailing the last hold. Word of advice.Use an ISO 400 film. You'll get better results.An ISO 200 film tends to get grainy at times.
Pro : It's light,waterproof and has all the features I need.
Con : I wished the flash was brighter.

I have never seen a waterproof 35mm camera like that and that is something I am looking for.
